(EO8) Fundamentals of Explosive Ordnance Test and Evaluation

This short course identifies the main concepts of Test and Evaluation and how T&E can support the selection of EO systems as well as providing evidence of on-going safety of an EO system during its ADF Service Life.

Introduction:

This course provides a foundation level introduction to the field of Test and Evaluation (T&E). The T&E of ADF EO contributes to demonstration of the initial safety of an EO system as well as supporting the Safety Case for in-service EO systems. This course is intended to provide EO engineers with an appreciation of T&E from an EO perspective, it is intended to compliment the Introduction to Explosive Ordnance & Guided Weapon Certification course.
 

Target Audience:

EO engineers supporting acquisition and/or sustainment of Explosive Ordnance

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand what T&E project objectives and task requirements are and why they are needed
  • Have an appreciation of T&E activities
  • Have the knowledge to analyse and report on required T&E activities
