(EO2) Introduction to Explosive Ordnance Certification Documentation

This short course provides an introduction to the key documentation which must be developed, delivered, and maintained in support of an Explosive Ordnance Safety Case.

Introduction:

The ADF EO Safety Program (DEOP 100) requires EO Safety Cases to be developed in order to demonstrate on-going compliance with ADF EO Safety Requirements. This short course provides an introduction to the key documentation which must be developed, delivered, and maintained in support of an EO Safety Case . The course will enable students to gain an understanding of the key requirements, as well as have the opportunity to quiz the instructor regarding specific examples/issues that have been encountered during attempts to satisfy ADF EO Safety Requirements.
 

Target Audience:

All Explosive Ordnance (EO) Engineers within Explosives Materiel Branch (EMB). All engineering personnel that undertake review and/or assessment ADF EO Safety Cases. This course will also provide useful background information to industry personnel/suppliers of EO items to EMB.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Gain an appreciation of the range of documents which may be required to support the certification of ADF Explosive Ordnance
  • Gain an appreciation of the need to tailor EO certification documents to the specific stage of the ADF Capability Lifecycle

Face to Face using worked examples from experts in the field.
