(FTD1) Introduction to Flight Simulator Evaluation, Qualification and Governance

FSEQG
This theory only course has been developed for professionals who are involved in the acquisition, commissioning, qualification, and in-service support of civil and military flight simulation training devices. This course provides the underpinning skills and knowledge relating to regulatory standards and requirements, data analysis methods, qualification test guide design, basic flight dynamics, and the on-going fidelity checking requirements required to maintain regulatory compliance for qualified training devices. Personnel who have completed this introductory course may be given credit towards the completion of the Nova Systems full six-day course in the Evaluation of Synthetic Training Devices (EoSTD) which is recognised by the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority as satisfying the training requirement contained in CASR Part 60 for personnel conducting initial and recurrent qualification of synthetic training devices.

Introduction:

This three-day theory only course has been developed for professionals who are involved in the acquisition, commissioning, qualification, and in-service support of civil and military flight simulation training devices.
